AD-LIB

Ever wonder if there is a universal gift out there to keep on stock just in case you happen upon an 'I-totally-forgot-about-that-special-occasion!' moment?

Well, I have the perfect gift in mind: a "colorfully embroidered" adjustable cap with a subtle message.

"DON'T FORGET MY SENIOR DISCOUNT!"

If you act now, you can get free shipping with a purchase of two. Perfect for the graduating high school senior in your family and that special senior in your life.

Senior pride!

    Our Dearest Grand-Daughter,

Grampa Bill is wondering why you didn't get him a Senior Discount hat. Not really. He did bite the bullet & buy us tickets to the OU-OSU football game. I have never attended an OSU-OU game in person.

Tomorrow he is flying to Virginia to spend the Marine Corps birthday & Veterans' Day in Washington, D.C. Also, this past Saturday he received a letter from Social Security telling him he was approved for disability as opposed to early retirement, which means he gets $400. extra a month. He is also trying to get his Veteran's Pension raised. On one of the web sites, a VA official said that "ischemia is more prevalent in veterans exposed to Agent Orange, which he was.

I love your blog. Let us know when you'll ever be available for dinner again. Not meant to be a guilt trip!

    Peace & Love,

    Grampa Bill & Gramma Carol
